Jonas Vidhammer Berge is a PhD fellow at the Centre for International Security. Berge’s areas of interest include the space domain, technological development, communications infrastructure, and the use and development of electronic warfare and cyber-weapons.

His PhD project focuses on outer space, and the role of the space domain in international politics and security. Berge holds a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oslo (2021).

Berge’s work has been published in journals including Journal of Strategic Studies and Annual Review of Political Science. His last article, co-authored by Henrik Stålhane Hiim, analyses the role of space and counterspace capabilities in China’s force posture.
